Cindy Vinson and Tom Waschura are big believers in the Affordable Care Act. They vote independent and are proud to say they helped elect and re-elect President Barack Obama. Yet, like many other Bay Area residents who pay for their own medical insurance, they were floored last week when they opened their bills: Their policies were being replaced with pricier plans that conform to all the requirements of the new health care law. Vinson,of San Jose, will pay $1,800 more a year for an individual policy, while Waschura, of Portola Valley, will cough up almost $10,000 more for insurance for his family of four.
As far as I’m concerned it serves him right for being so stinkin stupid. Everybody warned them that this is exactly what would happen. Over and over again people were told that Obamacare will only drive up everybody’s health care prices.
Wait until they find out they really will be denied health care because of their age or because of the price. Wait until these idiots learn that they really will be put on waiting lists. Wait until they really figure out that there are desth panels that are going to decide who should get care and who should not.
Oh none of that’s true. That’s just Republican hysterics.
Right, And your health care costs were supposed to go down to be affordable for everybody. That really, happened didn’t it.
One mote quote from the article. The author said this quote was priceless. And it is absolutely priceless. This quote shows why liberals are liberals.
“And while both said they anticipated their rates would go up, they didn’t realize they would rise so much. ‘Of course, I want people to have health care,’ Vinson said. ‘I just didn’t realize I would be the one who was going to pay for it personally.'”
Please!! That last part bears repeating. This is the truth conservative understand and liberals never have understood.
“Of course, I want people to have health care,” Vinson said. “I just didn’t realize I would be the one who was going to pay for it personally.”
Liberals really do think the government manufactures money out of thin air.
